Learning to play cricket
In Room 2 we had a cricket lesson. We had 2 coaches and they were teaching our class how to play cricket. We got to learn how to hold and hit the bat properly to the ball. We each got a bat and we were learning how to hit the ball off a cone. Room 2 all participated and showed respect to our coaches and most of us were really good at cricket. Room 2 learnt that in cricket there are some things you need to be aware of like standing in front of someone as they are going to hit the ball, running in the middle of a ball that might hit you and other safety rules. Room 2 were very lucky to get the chance to learn how to play cricket and we all made sure we had fun.

Shadow Art
As part of our Inquiry - Light and Sound we decided to make shadow art.
We painted our paper all over then when the paint was dry we traced our hands with a pencil then we very carefully painted our handprints black.
We got very messy making our shadow art but we had a lot of fun.
